Long Island NY Battery Energy Storage

Rhynland Energy is developing 4 battery energy storage projects that will be connected to the power grid in New York ISO Zone K (Long Island).

The projects will provide up to 280 MW of local emissions-free power capacity that will support the Long Island power grid and will help the transition from natural gas-fired peakers to renewable energy sources.

Rhynland Energy’s projects are currently in the permitting and interconnection process.

Rhynland Energy is developing these in partnership with a global commodity trading firm and major institutional investor.

New England Energy Storage

Rhynland Energy has started developing battery energy storage projects that will be connected to the ISO-New England power grid.

These projects will provide local emissions-free power capacity that will allow New England to procure sufficient generation capacity as legacy power plants are shut down.
